California trip...

California

We went to California a few weeks ago 

It was a FUN FUN trip!

(but no Dallan)  

We stayed with Auntie Tray and Juan, and Megan and the little boys came to play with us too

 Muffin, Sophie, Addie and Rylee buried in the sand...

We were at baby beach in Newport, they thought it was awesome until we went to Aliso creek beach. (no photos of that beach, if we broke to take a pic, the children would have been swept out to sea!) 

Disneyland. This may be the only pic. It was me and Meg, and 7 children. 

We were blessed enough to get to go up to the fast pass line or right up on the front on most rides. (long story) It was the best happiest day EVER! Moose was about 42", Oliver was about 38.5". 40" was a big cut off for some of the fun rides. So Wes got to go on Space Mountain, Big thunder railway, cars, I think another one, and Ollie couldn't :(  

After we came out of the dark on Space Mountain, I had no idea how Wes would be, it was too dark to watch him. He had a big happy face and said "FUN!" I said, "again?", he said with his happy face "no!"  It was cute!

It was a long, long day. We didn't buy ANYTHING! (except $16 in lollypops). We packed all our food and drinks. The kids were all rather well behaved. So much fun!

On our way home, we did a night in Vegas. This was our pool.

Sleep assignments:  Kenna, Rylee, Mom, in the bed. (Wes joined us around 3 am) Pushed those 2 green chairs together and made a little crib/bed for Sophie and Addie.  The bathroom had a giant soaker tub and a TV to watch. EVERYONE took a bath because of the TV.

Definitely the way to go, break up that long drive, $74!

Sophie's Rapunzel hair...

A funny story about a girl Moosehead calls DoeDoe (like dodo bird) because he can't say Bo Bo. (her real name). She wears a funny 20 foot long strip of fabric around daily going on several weeks now. She is playing Rapunzel from Tangled. It is a leftover strip of binding she found in my craft room.

Another goal for the year, 2 scrapbook pages a month! Hopefully I can do it, they don't take that long and I LOVE doing it!

Merry Christmas!!!

Merry Christmas! If anyone is still reading this (Hi Heidi). I am going to try to update better. I want to keep this record for my family. Aren't the kids darling? Kenna won't stop growing, Rylee is getting funny and whitty, Addie is adorable and loveable, Sophie is 100% a goofy nut, and Wes is my darling sweet infant who tells me "I love you Mommy" at least 3-4 dozen times a day! Not exaggerating! Love them all!

The children were a freakin nightmare, but I think I got a good one of everyone...

except Sophie...she needs like 2 hours on her own if there is any hope of getting a cute photo...

Anyhow, I love them...

and I love this kids too... especially on an individual basis...as a group they are rather overwhelming! 

 

Happy 9th birthday Rylee!

Happy birthday little Puppy Bit! Rylee is 9 years old! WTHeck? Seriously this girl grows up so fast. She has been such a good easy kid, I feel like I am missing out. She is darling, to skinny for her skinny jeans, spunky, so much energy. She plays piano, gymnastics, basketball, soccer, and soon to start dance up again...wheew! She loves playing outside, loves to play with friends, but most of all loves to play with sisters!  Thanks for being so great Rylee!  We did a family birthday this year. We all went to Lagoon (minus Wes thank goodness) For her birthday dinner she chose steak and mashed potatoes yummy! Love you Pup Pup. Mommy.

Hmmm...a funny story this year about Rylee. She was at walmart with Grandma and they saw some floral jumpers that Grandma had bought my girls. Grandma asked Rylee if she had worn hers and Rylee replied that "well, they kindof look like polygamist dresses." And Grandma says, "but they are Hannah Montana dresses!"  To which Rylee replied "Hannah Montana is a polygamist????!!!" In shock!  Funny.
